Woman dies in collision in Rouyn-Noranda

A woman has died from her injuries after a violent car accident on Highway 391 Sunday afternoon near Rouyn-Noranda.

Police say neither speed nor alcohol seem to be cause of the accident

A woman has died from her injuries after a violent car accident on Highway 391 Sunday afternoon near Rouyn-Noranda.

The woman’s car ended up in the wrong lane of the undivided highway and collided with an oncoming SUV.

The people in the SUV suffered non life-threatening injuries.

Provincial police are investigating, but say neither speed nor alcohol seem to be the cause of the accident.
