Woman, 67, stabbed in Côte Saint-Luc

A 67-year-old woman is in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times at an apartment complex in Côte Saint-Luc.

37-year-old suspect arrested near incident

A 67-year-old woman is in hospital in critical condition after being stabbed multiple times at an apartment complex in Côte Saint-Luc, according to Montreal police.

Police spokesman François Collard said the woman was assaulted with a knife around 10 a.m today, in a building on the corner of Kingsley Road and Sunnybrooke Avenue.

Collard said a 37-year-old male suspect was arrested near Ashdale Avenue and Baily Road, close to the location of the alleged assault.

Police have set up a large security perimeter around the crime scene while they attempt to determine the exact cicumstances surrounding the altercation.
