Victim dies after Saint-Michel shooting
The 28-year-old was shot Thursday at a park in a residential neighbourhood
One of the men shot in a park in Montreal's Saint-Michel neighbourhood on Thursday has died.
Investigators say several shots were fired near the corner of Pie-IX Boulevard and 54th Street at about 7 p.m. Thursday.
Paramedics transported two people to hospital.
Police say the victim was 28-years-old.
Investigators have interviewed the other shooting victim and say he is recovering from his wounds.
Police do not have any suspects and so far do not know what motivated the shooting.
This is Montreal's eighth homicide of the year.
