A new round of maintenance and repairs will close two Turcot Interchange ramps starting next week and lasting to mid-November.

Quebec’s Ministry of Transport announced that it will first close the ramp leading from Highway 720 westbound to Highway 15 south as of midnight next Monday, August 18.

As an alternate route, the ministry is encouraging drivers to continue on Highway 20 westbound to Exit 67 (Notre-Dame / Angrignon). From there, drivers are told to turn around, get back on Highway 20 eastbound and use the Turcot Interchange.

The ministry will then close the ramp from Highway 20 eastbound to Highway 15 (Decarie) northbound as of midnight on Friday, August 22.

Drivers affected by that closure are being encouraged to continue on Highway 720 east to Exit 3 (Montreal/ Centre-Ville / Guy). From there, drivers should get on Highway 720 westbound and use the Turcot Interchange from that direction.

The installation of barriers on both ramps will begin at 9:30 p.m. the nights before the scheduled closure.

The work will last until mid-November and then resume in the spring of 2015.
