Two 17-year-old boys will appear in youth court tomorrow, following a triple homicide inside a home in Trois-Rivières, Que.

Police have been at the two-storey, red-brick house on Sicard Street, near the corner of Renoir Street, since a 911 call came in at 8 a.m. Tuesday morning.

As police arrived at the scene, they intercepted the two minors who were leaving the home and arrested them.

Investigators who entered the house found three bodies – two females and one male all in their teens or early 20s.

Police described the scene as "violent," and from the street passersby could see a smashed window on the second floor.

For now, authorities are not identifying the victims, nor the link between them and the suspects.

However, neighbours and friends who came by the house said two of the victims are sisters, and the male victim is one of their friends.

The house is in a residential area of Trois-Rivières

"It seemed to be a quiet place," said Trois-Rivières police Const. Michel Letarte.

Neighbours said they never had any problems with the family who lived in the home.
