William and Léa are once again the two most popular names for babies born in Quebec.

The list of most popular baby names for 2013 was compiled by Quebec’s social security agency, the Régie des Rentes, which administers Quebec’s child tax credit.

William maintained its most popular baby name status, a title it has held since 2009.

Léa regained top place after losing out to Emma in 2012. Léa has been the most popular name for girls five out of the last six years.

Emma and Olivia placed second and third for girls in 2013.
