Two of the three suspects in last week’s attack on an STM bus driver will remain in jail until the end of their case’s judicial proceedings.

Jeffrey St. Cloud, 20, and a 17-year-old suspect who, as a minor, cannot be named, were denied bail today.

St. Cloud is scheduled to appear in court next on June 17 for his preliminary hearing, according to La Presse.

The third person accused, 20-year-old Daniel Quiroz Rivas, was scheduled to appear in court today but his bail hearing has been moved to mid-May.

A bus security camera captured three young men arguing with the driver of the 363, a night bus that runs up St-Laurent Boulevard, just after 2 a.m. on April 24.

In an effort to identify the suspects, the video was released to the public via YouTube, where it was seen over 22,000 times within 24 hours.

The 36-year-old bus driver suffered serious head injuries and remains in hospital.
