Canadian Cardinal Marc Ouellet is one of the leading contenders to succeed Benedict XVI as pope.
Born in La Motte, a small Quebec village, Marc Ouellet has risen through the church to hold one of the highest positions in the Vatican.
The 450 residents of Ouellet's hometown are in anticipation as they await a decision that could drastically alter the future of the man they still call 'Marc.'
