Fire destroys sugar shack in Saint-Hyacinthe

A maple sugar shack just east of Saint-Hyacinthe was destroyed by fire overnight.
Firefighters received a call at around 1:30 a.m. on Friday for a fire at the Domaine St-Simon sugar shack.
Crews from several communities worked to fight the fire, but the building was destroyed.
There are no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire is not yet known.
