City worker suspended on corruption allegations

A city employee working in Côte-des-Neiges—Notre-Dame-de-Grâce has been suspended without pay because of allegations of corruption.
The engineer, who previously worked at Montreal City Hall, reportedly admitted to breaking the city’s code of conduct.
Sources told Radio-Canada the worker received at least one bribe.
The city has launched an internal investigation.
