Driver killed in head-on Laval crash

One driver was killed and another injured in a head-on crash in Laval early Saturday morning.
The crash happened on Marcel-Villeneuve Avenue, in the Saint-François area, at around 3:30 a.m.
Laval police said one of the drivers veered into the oncoming lane and struck another vehicle.
One driver, a 26-year-old Laval man, was killed. The other driver, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Alcohol may have been a contributing factor, according to police.
