Unrelated stabbings send 3 to hospital

Three people were injured in unrelated stabbings in Montreal overnight Friday.
A man in his 20s was stabbed multiple times in the upper body near the intersection of Sainte-Catherine West and Drummond Street at around 9 p.m.
According to Montreal police spokesman Dany Richer, the man was involved in an altercation with a group of people.
He remains in hospital in stable condition.
Another man is in stable condition at the hospital after he was stabbed in a bar on the corner of Sainte-Catherine Street and Valois Street.
Two individuals allegedly entered the bar to attack the 44-year-old victim.
Police were also called to a bar on Newman Boulevard in Montreal's LaSalle borough around 2:45 a.m. after a 21-year-old man was stabbed during a brawl involving many people.
The man, who is known to police, is in serious condition.
No suspects were found.
