A note left on the Pavica family doorstep.
A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday in connection to the suspicious death of Paula Pavica in Brossard.
The young woman's mother found her dead around 4 a.m. Sunday.
She was found in the basement of her family home on Oasis Street.
Pavica's mother was treated for shock.
According to reports, there were no signs of violence, but the victim was lying face-down on the ground.
More details about the cause of death will be available once an autopsy is performed.
Police say the suspect knew the victim very well. He will appear in a Longueuil courtroom Monday afternoon and answer to second-degree murder charges.
