Police make arrest in strip joint stabbing

Montreal police have arrested a suspect in Longueuil in connection to a stabbing near a strip joint that happened Saturday morning.
The driver with whom the suspect drove off was also arrested.
Authorities say there was an altercation at the Sexe d'Or nightclub on Decarie Boulevard north of Jean Talon Street where a 28-year-old man was injured while leaving the bar around 2:30 a.m. ET.
The suspect fled in a car, but the victim was able to give a description to police.
The victim is seriously injured but is expected to recover from his wounds.
The man arrested will be charged with attempted murder while the young woman who drove the car will face charges of accessory after the fact.
