Westmount gas leak causes power outage

Close to 4,000 people are without power in Westmount at this hour.
The fire department shut power off at 12:30 p.m. as a precautionary measure, to repair a gas leak at the corner of Redfern Avenue and De Maisonneuve Boulevard.
The City of Westmount says several buildings including École Saint Leon de Westmount have been evacuated.
The fire department is working to repair the leak and to restore power.
