Abdulrazek Al-Fadli, 25, was found at 5:30 a.m. Friday in an apartment on Thrush Boulevard.
The arrest comes more than five months after a shootout at the Taboo strip club in Gatineau.
A warrant was issued for Al-Fadli's arrest Aug. 31, two weeks after a bouncer was shot while working at Taboo.
Al-Fadli will be questioned Friday and is expected to appear later in the day. He faces charges for attempted murder, assault and possession of a prohibited weapon.
A woman, 29, was also arrested at the apartment and will be questioned for accessory after the fact and possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
A witness at the time of August shooting said the altercation began between one of the women at the club and the suspects. The suspects, the witness said, left the club and got into an altercation with the bouncer when they tried to get back in.
Shots were fired and the doorman was injured.
A Gatineau police officer working another case saw five men fleeing the bar and opened fire on one of the vehicles after police say it attempted to run him down.
Three men were also arrested Aug. 17 related to the shootout.
