Emergency workers say a man was taken to hospital Friday afternoon after a second floor balcony fell off a building in Outremont.
Two workers were removing bricks from a townhouse on Courcelette Street when they heard a crack as the balcony above them started to detach from the structure.
Both men jumped out of the way, but one man broke his leg.
The other was not injured.
