Montreal police car involved in fatal crash

A crash involving a Montreal patrol car claimed the life of an 82-year-old man. (CBC)Quebec provincial police are investigating an accident involving a Montreal police car that left one person dead and three injured Tuesday.
A patrol car carrying two police officers was responding to an emergency call just after 9 p.m. ET.
The car was travelling east on Sherbrooke Street in the Hochelaga Maisonneuve area when a vehicle driving north through an intersection hit it broadside.
The 82-year-old driver of the second car was killed. His passenger and the two officers were injured.
