Laval's public transit commission is offering free all-day transportation on Dec. 24 and 31.
The offer has two goals — to thank riders and discourage drunk driving, said officials at the commission.
People are being asked to make a donation in lieu of paying their regular fare.
Donated money will be given to school lunch programs in Laval.
