The worker was killed while installing a tire at this garage in Chambly. (CBC)A 25-year-old man was killed in a workplace accident Tuesday at a tire shop in Chambly, south of Montreal.
The employee of Pneus Robert Bernard was installing a tire on a truck when it exploded.
The man had been working at the company for a few years.
Quebec’s Workplace Health and Safety Board has opened an investigation into the incident.
