An immigration board member today ordered the deportation of an American in Montreal who is on the FBI's most wanted list as a suspected pedophile.
Richard Goldberg admitted today that officials in California have reasonable grounds to suspect he committed sex crimes against children.
Immigration and Refugee Board member Dianne Tordorf ordered his deportation at a brief hearing in Montreal.
Goldberg fled to Canada in July 2001 after he was accused of engaging in sex acts with six young girls and taking pictures of the attacks.
The 61-year-old former engineer became the neighbourhood babysitter and kept ducks and bunnies at his Long Beach, Calif., home.
Police say it was all part of a trap set to lure six girls aged under 10 to his house.
