Excerpts of an interview with Prince Charles and his two sons, William and Harry, were released Thursday.

The full interview, conducted by popular British presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly, will air on Britain's ITV1 on Saturday. The lighthearted chat included discussions of the three princes' preferred types of entertainment.

After grumbling about William's and Harry's taste in music, Prince Charles raved about his own preferences, including the introspective Cohen.

"I tell you who I also think is wonderful is a chap called Leonard Cohen, do you know him?" he asked.

William, his elder son, responded: "Is he a jazz player?"

Charles waxed on: "He's remarkable. I mean the orchestration is fantastic and the words, the lyrics and everything. He's a remarkable man, and he has this incredibly, sort of laid back, gravelly voice. It's terrific stuff."

Members of the British press were bemused, with some surprised that Charles enjoyed any music other than classical.

Also in the interview, the two young princes revealed that they shared most people's appetite for reality TV, including the British music talent show X Factor and the U.S. singing contest  American Idol.

The interview was scheduled as part of celebrations surrounding the 30th anniversary of The Prince's Trust, the charity Charles founded to support youth groups and the underprivileged.

The charity, which annually presents Hyde Park's Party in the Park concert, will host an anniversary event Saturday at the Tower of London, with scheduled performers including Ozzy Osbourne, Annie Lennox and Lionel Richie.
