Police in the Montérégie arrested a suspect in the theft of a tractor-truck overnight — but not before a highway chase.

Richelieu-Saint-Laurent police say the tractor-truck was taken in Sainte-Julie and they followed it for about ten minutes on Highway 229 to Saint-Mathieu-de-Beloeil.

Eventually, the truck tipped into the ditch between lanes and police arrested the driver.
