St-Léonard restaurant shooting injuries 3 men
Police were called to Japanese restaurant early Friday morning
Three men were taken to hospital after a shooting in a Japanese restaurant in St-Léonard early Friday morning.
Several people called 911 just after 12:45 a.m. ET to report possible gunshots at Yoko, a restaurant on the corner of Jean-Talon and Buies streets.
"When police officers arrived on the scene, they located two victims inside the restaurant. First victim is a 50-year-old man. Both his face and hands were injured, we're talking about lacerations. Second victim is also a man, 54 years old, wounded by a projectile on his upper body. They were both transferred in hospital where doctors do not fear for their lives,” said Letizia Comparsi of the Montreal police.
While patrolling the area around the restaurant, police found a third man who had also been shot.
A motive and suspects are still being sought.
