Woman dies in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard car crash

A woman lost her life Sunday afternoon after a collision on Highway 329 in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard in the Laurentians.

The woman, in her 50s, succumbed to her injuries at Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts hospital

A woman died Sunday afternoon after a collision on Highway 329 in Saint-Adolphe-d'Howard in the Laurentians.

A little after 3 p.m., a car began to spin out of control, colliding with a truck driving in the opposite direction, said Sûreté du Québec Sgt. Audrey-Anne Bilodeau.

The woman was a passenger in the car. There were two people in each vehicle.

Bilodeau says the woman, in her 50's, was in critical condition before succumbing to her injuries at Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts hospital.

An investigator was sent to the scene. 

Highway 329 was closed between des Musiciens Street and Val-des-Monts Road.
