Rosemont fire leaves 12 homeless
5-alarm fire leads to $150,000 in damages
A major fire overnight in the Rosemont-La-Petite-Patrie borough has left 12 people homeless.
About 100 firefighters responded to the five-alarm fire at a residential building on Normanville Street late Friday night.
Flames spread to the roof from a second-floor balcony, according to fire officials.
No one was injured.
Investigators are trying to determine the cause of the fire.
Damages are estimated to be more than $150,000.
