Quebec retirement home fire kills 1
2 injured as 31 evacuees with families or Red Cross
One person is dead following a fire Tuesday evening at a retirement residence in Lac-Beauport, north of Quebec City.
Two other people were taken to hospital, one with chest pain and the other with smoke inhalation.
Police say the injuries are not life-threatening.
A total of 31 people were evacuated and are being tended to by their families or the Red Cross.
There is no word yet on what caused the fire.
