Quebec police arrest man after internet sex complaint from parents
A Quebec man suspected of stalking young girls on the internet for sex is expected to be charged on Wednesday.
Quebec provincial police arrested the 24-year-old man on Wednesday in Beauharnois, southwest of Montreal.
His home was searched and investigators confiscated computer equipment and materials.
The provincial police cybercrimes unit was alerted about the suspect following a complaint from a parent in the region.
The parents alleged the suspect was using the internet to contact underage girls with the goal of having sex with them.
The 24-year old is expected to be charged with several counts of luring and producing child pornography.
