A Quebec mother accused of killing her three children has been found fit to stand trial.

Sonia Blanchette, 33, appeared at the Drummondville courthouse Friday morning to hear the results of a psychological evaluation conducted late last year.

Blanchette faces three counts of first-degree murder.

The bodies of her children, Anais, 2, Loic, 4, and Lorelie, 5, were found at her residence in early December in Drummondville, located halfway between Montreal and Quebec City.

Blanchette has not entered a plea.
