Here are Pierre's picks for March 14, 15 and 16.
2. Michel Tremblay's play Albertine, en cinq temps celebrates its 30th anniversary with a remount directed by Lorraine Pintal. The strong cast includes Monique Miller, Émilie Bibeau, and Marie Tifo. At Théâtre du Nouveau Monde (84 Ste-Catherine Ouest) until April 10.
3. Les Grands Ballets Canadiens present Rodin/Claudel, choreographed by Peter Quanz, based on the two famous sculptors who became passionate lovers before Claudel's mental health deteriorated. At Théâtre Maisonneuve of Place des Arts until March 22.
4. Looking to catch up on your Orson Wells films? La Cinémathèque Québécoise (335, boul. De Maisonneuve Est) presents a retrospective of some of his most important work until April 24. Wells' 1965 adaptation of Falstaff screens Friday at 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 5 p.m., while 1947's The Lady From Shanghai is shown on Saturday at 9:30 p.m.
5. Let your hair down and rock out to Quebec legend Michel Pagliaro. With a career now in its 6th decade, Pag shows no sign of slowing down! Saturday at 8:30 p.m. at Rialto Theatre (5723 avenue du Parc).
