One person has died after a plane crashed in a forest north of Val-d'Or this afternoon.
Police said the victim might have been the only person on board the ultralight aircraft.
According to officers, no distress signal was sent out by the plane before it crashed and caught fire near the intersection of Route 111 and Pont Champagne Road.
Firefighters put out the flames.
On Monday, investigators said they were not sure where the plane was headed to or where it was coming from.
Witnesses were being interviewed by officials to find out more about the circumstances surrounding the incident.
