Transport Quebec is reducing the Jacques-Cartier Bridge to one lane in both directions Tuesday night for road work.

The lane restrictions are in effect from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m.

The transport agency also announced repairs on the walls of the Ville Marie Expressway (Autoroute 720) eastbound, and on the St-Laurent Boulevard 720 Autoroute overpass, starting Wednesday July 13.

That work is expected to last four months.

  • One lane closed on the 720 westbound between the Panet and University Street exits, in the Ville Marie tunnel (July 13 to end of November.)
  • One or two lanes closed on the 720 eastbound, between the Ville-Marie tunnel and Panet Street (July 14 to end of November.)
