In Montreal, a little snow and a cold wind
Consider this a winter test run — it's cold, but temperatures will warm up again next week
So... about that snow...
Some flurries came down in the Montreal area this morning, although it's the cold that may be complicating your life.
Time to bust out the box full of scarves and mitts, because it's about –7 C outside at Trudeau airport, but there is a windchill — remember what that's like? — that is making it feel considerably more cold.
The light dusting made for some artistic (or depressing, depending on your feelings about snow) photos Friday morning.

The scene is slightly more impressive in Sherbrooke, where a Radio-Canada reporter snapped these photos of what is almost a bona fide winter wonderland.

If snow sightings are not something you enjoy, don't despair. Temperatures should be back above the freezing mark by next week, and you can forget this ever happened.
