CBC Montreal's Do Crew was out in full force Saturday at the Montreal Stars' fifth annual Fight Against Breast Cancer fundraising hockey game.

The Stars raised $8,500 for the Breast Cancer Wellness Clinic at the Cedars Cancer Institute (MUHC).

The home team came out on top against the reigning Clarkson Cup champions, the Toronto Furies, posting a 6-1 final.

The evening also featured a silent auction, a 50/50 raffle and an autograph session by all the players after the game.

The CBC Do Crew volunteers were on hand throughout the event to help with everything from the ticket booth, to security, to slogging cases of beer, to helping out with cleanup and wrapping up sales at the silent auction table.
