Montreal's first baby of 2016, a healthy boy, was delivered a mere seven seconds after the bell at the Jewish General Hospital.

Constantinos Koukoutsis was born to Joanne Rozakis and Pantelis Koukoutsis, weighing a robust 3.6 kilograms. The baby and his mother are doing well, the hospital said in a release.

Constantinos was followed shorty after by Tristan Arlo Monsonego, also a boy, born at three minutes past midnight. He was delivered at his home in Outremont by two midwives from the Maison de Naissance Côte-des-Neiges.

He's the third child to parents Annelise Herrmann and Olivier Monsonego.
