You may want to think twice if you're planning on driving to or through Montreal on Sunday.

Motorists can expect a series of detours due to roadwork and the city's annual cycling event, the Tour de l'Île.

Tour de l'Île

Montreal's annual cycling event takes place on Sunday.

Many streets through different neighbourhoods in both Montreal and Longueuil will be closed to traffic.

The Jacques-Cartier Bridge will also be closed in both directions on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
