A water main break has led to a partial closure of Notre-Dame Street in the Southwest borough.

The street is shut down in both directions between Vinet and Charlevoix streets in the Little Burgundy neighbourhood.

The pipe burst around 2 a.m. on Thursday morning.

Montreal police say that the leak has been shut off, but that the street will be closed for several hours.
