Montreal North man, 63, charged with sexual assault

Robert Prairie, 63, faces charges of sexual assault and invitation to sexual touching after police arrested him in Montreal North earlier this month.

Police say they believe Prairie assaulted several boys ranging from 10 to 15 years old.

The accused allegedly approached boys and invited them into his home in Montreal North to play video games. Police say after he gained their trust, he would assault them.

Montreal’s sex crimes investigators said that so far, four alleged victims have come forward and they have reason to believe there are more victims.

Police are asking people who may have any information about Prairie to contact their local police station.
