Kids and parents who want to attend Montréal en Lumière's Nuit Blanche have a variety of free, kid-focused options to choose from this year.

The festival attracts over 1,000,000 visitors every year. Families should aim to go early to avoid the crush of partiers which fill the outdoor site after dark. For those wanting to stay out late, the metro is open all night and free shuttles operate between the different festival locations until 3 a.m.

1. China Ferris Wheel and Sledding

Place des Festivals is the nerve centre of Nuit Blanche and the China Ferris Wheel is one of its most visually stunning attractions. The always popular Urban Milk Slide and mini slide is also free and just on the other side of the MAC from the Ferris Wheel.
