Mile-End businesses hit with Molotov cocktails

Montreal police arson investigators have been called in after two fire bombs were launched in Mile End early this morning.

Montreal police are investigating two suspicious fires involving Molotov cocktails this morning in Mile-End.

The first happened at a bar on Parc Avenue near St-Joseph Boulevard around 6 a.m.

Just after 6:30 a.m., another Molotov cocktail was thrown inside a cafe on St-Viateur Street near Clark Street.

Police say no one was injured in either incident and the damage was minor.

Arson investigators have been called in and are expected to be on scene later this morning.
