Man faces 2nd-degree murder charge in Rosemont stabbing
Police say attack appears to have been a case of conjugal violence
A 55-year-old man is facing a charge of second-degree murder, after a woman was stabbed to death yesterday in Montreal.
The suspect was arrested yesterday at a Rosemont apartment where the 62-year-old woman was found in critical condition.
Police said it appears to have been a case of conjugal violence.
Paramedics were called to the apartment on Sherbrooke Street East around 3:45 p.m. on Monday.
The woman was rushed to hospital in critical condition and died later in the evening.
