A 60-year-old man was stabbed multiple times in a downtown Montreal apartment, Saturday night.

The incident took place inside a residence near the corner of Chomedey and Ste-Catherine Street.

The victim is in hospital with serious upper body injuries and police say they fear for his life.

Another 60-year-old man is being questioned by police.
