Quebec's workplace health and safety board is investigating the death of a man working on the decontamination of a Montreal school.
Late Tuesday afternoon, emergency crews were called to École des Cinq-Continents on Dupuis Ave. in Côte-des-Neiges.
A 27-year-old man collapsed while working to remove asbestos from part of the building.
Ambulance technicians found him in cardiac arrest and tried to revive him.
The two ambulance technicians, along with other first responders and workers on the site, had to undergo decontamination after leaving the scene.
Officials said it doesn't appear that the asbestos had anything to do with the victim's death.
