The emergency room at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital in Montreal is moving into a new space this weekend.

It will remain open but hospital officials are asking the population to avoid the emergency room Saturday. 

They advise for those in need of emergency medical assistance to go to a different hospital or clinic.
