Île Bigras Bridge in Laval reopens to traffic
Citizen reported sinkhole late Sunday afternoon
A small bridge has reopened to traffic in Laval after a water main break Sunday.
Vehicles were not allowed to cross the Île Bigras bridge after a citizen informed authorities about a sinkhole at the mouth of the bridge around 4 p.m.
Residents in Île Bigras, Île Parizeau and Île Verte also had their water cut off and some remain under a boil-water advisory.
Laval city officials and public works are evaluating the structure.
