A 22-year-old man is expected in court today after leading police on a high-speed car chase through the Eastern Townships while driving a Lamborghini.

Drivers on Highway 55 near the town of Windsor had called police to report the Lamborghini was passing other cars in a dangerous fashion.

The Sûreté du Québec officers chasing him found the man after he pulled over and tried to hide in a field on the side of the road.

SQ officers chased the car until the town of l’Avenir, just south of Drummondville.
