Jacques-Cartier reopened after serious collision

A serious accident involving three vehicles on Tuesday afternoon forced the closure of the Jacques-Cartier bridge in both directions just after 3 p.m. ET.

A serious accident involving three vehicles on Tuesday afternoon forced the closure of the Jacques-Cartier bridge in both directions just after 3 p.m. ET.

The Sûreté du Québec said it was possibly a head-on collision and there are individuals injured in each vehicle.

The bridge reopened just before 4 p.m. ET to what police call a "paced" flow.
