Witnesses describe hearing an explosion before calling firefighters

A house under renovation in L'Épiphanie was completely destroyed by a fire overnight.

Firefighters received a call concerning the fire around 8:40 p.m. last night, after witnesses described hearing an explosion.

Nobody was inside the home when the fire broke out and there are no injuries.

Investigators are on the scene to determine how the fire started.
