CBC's public forum on the future of English in Quebec generated a night of lively discussion on Thursday at the Notre-Dame-de-Grâce Crowley Centre.

The special event wrapped up CBC Montreal's Living English season, which looked into the province's English-speaking population and the issues anglophones face.

Last night's panel of guests featured Parti Québécois minister Jean-François Lisée,  lawyer and TV personality Anne-France Goldwater,  Gazette cartoonist Terry Mosher, social media personality Tamy Emma Pepin, Real Ventures partner John Stokes and the producer of "Bon Cop, Bad Cop," Kevin Tierney.
