Quebec provincial police spokeswoman Christine Coulombe said Tétreault will be charged with conspiracy to commit murder.

The Hells Angels member has been wanted for the past five years, as part of a province-wide crackdown on biker gangs, dubbed Operation SharQc. The operation led to more than 150 arrests in 2009.

Earlier this year, the Supreme Court upheld a stay of proceedings against 31 of the Hells Angels members and sympathizers swept up in that operation.

Police said Tétreault was arrested Thursday evening as he was leaving his home in Bois-des-Filion, Que.

Coulombe said he did not resist arrest.
